The Garston Veterinary Group equine unit has been
developed to provide a high level of professional and compassionate care to our
equine clients and their horses. We offer a comprehensive 24 hour service through either our
ambulatory system or at the clinic at Great Ashley Farm near Bradford-on-Avon.
The ambulatory service covers most aspects of equine
veterinary work from routine vaccinations and health checks to lameness
investigations, pre-purchase examinations, stud work and dental care. In
addition with the facilities at Ashley Farm we are equipped for full in-depth
lameness work-ups including intra-articular analgesia, radiography and
ultrasonography; reproductive work including pregnancy diagnosis and infertility
investigations. Our facilities allow us to perform a wide range of procedures
either under full general anaesthesia or else on the standing patient under
regional anaesthesia.
